Staff Writer After many years another authentic Japanese restaurant is coming to Idaho Falls, in a slowly growing chain of restaurants. If anyone wants to try some, head over to Hokkaido ramen house, a four star restaurant, located at Snake River Landing; this amazingly cozy restaurant is a mix of pure, authentic Japanese culture with a hint of café. When entering the restaurant, the aroma of chicken, beef, and other savory scents that greet customers are just delicious. While waiting to be seated, fantastic art of dragons and historical Japanese warriors span the restaurant and there is also ramen majestically placed across their beautiful walls as art pieces. When deciding what to drink, guests have the option of bubbly Ramune also known as marble soda, boba or bubble tea, and Coke products, while on the same side of the menu, look at the delicious appetizers ranging from gyoza to crab rangoons and more. As the server is retrieving the appetizers and drinks, flip the menu over to look at all of the delicious ramen which varies from a classic chicken flavor “The Chicken Little,” the savory, spicy ramen “The Hotness,” and the delectable veggie ramen “The Vegeta-bowl Ramen.” While there are more strong and rich flavors, these are just some of the popular ones they serve. The restaurant is amazingly cozy, the staff is incredibly welcoming, the variety of drinks and appetizers is amazing, and the different types of ramen adds to the authenticity. Customers should go in the evening, as it makes the restaurant more peaceful, calm, and before any panic sets in. This restaurant is not outrageously expensive like other Japanese restaurants, so customers have no need to spend hundreds of dollars. Whether it is for date night, prom night, or just a casual lunch or dinner, come on over to Hokkaido ramen house. Hokkaido can be found at 901 Pier View Dr., Idaho Falls, or find them on Doordash quick warning however, it is not available until 4:30. Hokkaido ramen house is open from 11:30 AM - 8:PM on Sundays, 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM then reopens at 4:30-8:30 PM on Monday through Saturday.
