At Bonneville High School, there is a junior varsity and varsity wrestling team. JV and varsity both wrestle together because they wrestle by either weight classes or age brackets. A duel is where two teams meet up and have a competition with each other based on a weight bracket, tournaments are where a bunch of schools from all over go head to head with either weight brackets or age brackets. The first duel is at the BHS main gym, and the duel is against Preston High School on December 1, 2022 for both junior varsity and varsity wrestlers. Most of the tournaments or duels will be at a different school, so make sure to come to the ones here at BHS.

Koby Gould, a varsity wrestler at Bonneville High School, stated that “I think wrestling really pushes your limits and it’s just a lot of fun. It is also a good way to meet people from other schools and even meet people from out of state.” Gould stated that the reason he tried wrestling was because “I just thought that wrestling would be a really fun sport to try out so I tried it, and I loved it.” Wrestling is one of the very interesting winter sports there is here at Bonneville. This year's wrestling season is going to be amazing here at Bonneville High School because of all of our amazing wrestlers. Wrestling is a very complex sport; when people wrestle, they have to be mentally and physically strong if they are looking to win. Make sure to show school spirit and go watch the wrestlers compete against other schools.
