Staff Writer American football has grown in the last couple of seasons, and Super Bowl LVI lineup is very different, but should be very exciting. Super Bowl Sunday is always a big get together for most football fans, but as football has grown bigger and bigger and more and more people celebrate the Super Bowl like it is a holiday. The team lineup for Super Bowl Sunday consists of the Cincinnati Bengals versus the Los Angeles Rams. With two great teams, the 56th annual Super Bowl should be an extremely tough battle. The last time the Bengals were at the Super Bowl was in 1989 when they lost to the San Francisco 49ers. The Bengals have only been to the Super Bowl twice and lost each time, so fans around the world are getting hyped up for a chance to reign supreme. The Rams on the other hand, have won a Super Bowl, in January of 2000, when they demolished the Tennessee Titans in an outstanding game. The Rams have been an underdog for years until now since they traded for Matt Staford and Odell Beckam Jr., including many other star players. The Bengals also have several extremely talented players, including quarterback Joe Burrow and receivers Ja’marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Both teams did extremely well in the playoffs and now it is paying off; however, only one team can win the Super Bowl. This year's Super Bowl will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Commercials are already sold out for Sunday, which can be some peoples favorite part about the game. Another thing audiences love to watch is the halftime show. In the past years they have gotten a famous artist or performer to put on an amazing show to keep the audiences entertained during the thirty minute break. This year they are trying something different and bringing on five different artists to all perform during the Super Bowl. The artists include Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. For many people their genres of music might not be their favorite, but hopefully they put on an amazing show that all people and ages can enjoy. Two great teams and an exciting halftime show should make Super Bowl LVI an amazing game.
