Editor-in-Chief Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is finally expanding to Idaho Falls! This restaurant will be located at 2280 South 25th East, south of the mall and adjacent to Target. The planned location will give Idaho Falls residents their first in-city Cane’s, following the brand’s March 31, 2026 opening in nearby Chubbuck. Known for a focused menu of fresh, never-frozen chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and signature Cane’s Sauce, the Louisiana-based chain has been on an aggressive growth track. OSR Magazine, a company representative, says each new restaurant represents “more than expansion, it’s an opportunity to bring our culture, our crew, and our cravable Chicken Finger Meals to communities we’re proud to serve.” Raising Cane’s is working toward 1,600 U.S. locations by the end of the decade. The Idaho Falls site would be the brand’s fourth in the state, after Meridian’s November 18, 2025 debut, Twin Falls in January 2026, and Chubbuck. Past grand openings in Idaho have featured overnight lines and ‘Free Cane’s for a Year’ giveaways for the first customers in line. While an official opening date for the Idaho Falls store has not been posted, new Cane’s locations typically hire at least 130 crew members and partner with local schools, sports teams, and nonprofits ahead of launch. For Idaho Falls, the move is more than just another drive-thru. Positioned off Hitt Road by Best Buy, Cane’s plants itself in the city’s busiest shopping district. As construction progresses, Idaho Falls residents - and hungry students- await the chance to see if the reality of the signature sauce matches the legendary hype.
