Staff Writer Burly Burger is located 3484 S 25th E by CupBop, and OneZo Boba. Although the building is a bit smaller, the interior was homey.. The space was well-organized, the service was pleasant, and the food offered a delightful experience. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I noticed it was fairly busy but not overcrowded. Since I went on a Thursday, it was not too packed, though I imagine it would be much busier on a Friday or Saturday. The seating area is located on the left side of the building, while customers have to walk towards the back to order.. There were two service windows: one for mobile order pickups and another for placing orders. The customer service was excellent—they gave me my food in about five minutes. When I asked about their special deals, they provided detailed information on the offers and explained how different portion sizes could help me save money. The menu also had different varieties of burgers and different meal choices such as chicken tenders, sandwiches, and salads. The description under each choice was helpful, as it showed the ingredients to the options, and their descriptions about how they tasted. Unfortunately, the menu did not include any allergen preferences, but they did offer salads and kids’ specials for smaller, healthier portions. I ordered The Duke and their Classic burger, which were both around $11 each. While waiting and observing the interior, it was clear that the space was well-lit. The main light sources are exposed, hanging light bulbs from the ceiling, which create a pleasant light that is not too bright or dim. The restaurant also offered fry sauce, which was a nice addition since many burger places typically only provide ketchup. The Classic was stacked well, and the vegetable to meat ratio was satisfying. It did not have anything special added, although it was an intriguing burger that stayed true to its name and had classic burger features. Including the burger, it was too plain and I wish it did have some type of flavoring to the meat. The Duke had a bit of a kick, fitting its description as a Western-style burger. The flavorful combination of BBQ and burley sauce enhanced its taste, while the crunchy battered fries and fry sauce complemented it perfectly. Although, some bites did have more sauce than others, so I think it could have been distributed more evenly. Overall, the Burly is a well crafted restaurant that offers amazing burgers. Visit them between the hours of 11AM- 9PM.
